Damas Drakkar is a French woven jacquard tapestry cushion cover. The artwork is an extract from the famous Bayeux tapestry from the late 11th century, depicts the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066 when Duke William of Normandy was victorious over King Harold of Saxon England. This variation on the Bayeux takes a small section of one scene and completes the image in beige and white damask. This piece is companion to #5484 Damas Cavaliers.
