Harold et William is a French woven jacquard wall tapestry. The original artwork comes from the famous Bayeux Tapestry. This remarkable embroidery of the late 11th century is now exhibited at Bayeux, Normandy. Over 220 ft long, it depicts the events leading up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066 when Duke William of Normandy was victorious over King Harold.
